• We are a small family run business with more than 40 years combined experience of running events and working with doves.

• All our staff have been enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checked (previously the Criminal Records Bureau - CRB check).

• Our baskets are exquisitely all hand-made by a Master Craftsman here in the UK.

Our Ethics

• At Durham Doves we are dedicated to providing an ethical way to create a positive lasting memory for any special occasion.

• Our baskets are made using only native white willow that has been sustainably sourced.

• Having worked in partnership with the Marine Conservation Society and Heritage Coast for more than twenty years, we have seen the damage to wildlife and the marine ecosystem that a balloon or lantern release causes.

• We always use only local suppliers and support local business.

• All our waste is used by local gardeners, helping us reduce our carbon footprint and environmental impact.
